Hold the Tower!

Arcade-like game where blocks fall from the sky and you must balance and then secure as many as you can with your platform!

Made for the Ico Jam 2023.

Controls:

• Mouse: Rotate your platform
• M1: Hold the tower to secure your blocks
• A and D: Move your platform

When "holding" your tower a countdown will appear, you must stop the tower from collapsing during this time. If you successfully hold your tower during the timer, all of your blocks will be converted to points:

The amount of points you score is exponential to the number of blocks in your tower, meaning that 1 block will gain you 10 points; 2 blocks, 10 + 20; 3 blocks, 10 + 20 + 40... etc. The more blocks you manage to hold in your tower, the more points they will award you.

Lastly, each time you manage to hold your tower, your platform will become smaller, so make sure you try to get a lot of points early on before it gets too difficult!

This is my first ever game jam, and I'm proud of how this game turned out! Hope you enjoy my take on this theme.
